| After a century of apple planting, there were apple
trees of every color -- many of them heirloom varieties -- growing
naturally. I underbrushed them, knowing the new lot owners would be
excited to own them. (Check out the long-range views north over Hendersonville!) |

| This road-sign area was required, but it wasn't required to be ugly. I added a natural-stone landscape feature with roses and a stone bench for the many Kenmure members who enjoy this park-like plateau. |
